After a wonderful night’s sleep all the guests met for
breakfast in the various dining areas of the chateau. Following this we did a
little house-keeping and orientation with our hosts, Robin (my cousin) and her
husband Kevin. All of the guests seemed to have a need to do some washing so in
between exploring the huge grounds and out-buildings of the property, washing
was done. Following lunch we hopped into the various vehicles and drove a few
kilometres to the small town of La Bouille located on the Seine River. Here we
explored the old buildings and the river side. We returned to the chateau and
Rob, Lyn, Steve and myself went to a near-by grill restaurant and had dinner.
